Andrea and Grants wedding at the River Road and Jasmine House in Columbia

Andrea and Grant, who might just be one of my favorite couples ever, got married at the River Road and Jasmine house in Columbia. The ceremony was beautiful and the party after was really fun.  They ended the night with in a blaze of glory as they walked through the sparklers.

Andrea and Grant's engagement session

I'm sorry it's been so long since I updated my photography blog with new content. But I guess that's what happens when you spend so much time shooting and editing, something things just get put on the back burner. Anyway, here is a somewhat recent session with Andrea and Grant. They are getting married soon so we did their engagement session out on the family farm. It was incredibly beautiful and so much fun. We all had a great time, but I think the images speak for themselves.

Teresa and Eric's Wedding Photography

A misty spring rain lent a lovely, soft atmosphere to Teresa and Eric's romantic and intimate wedding. The couple exchanged vows overlooking acres of gorgeous lakefront property at Timberlake Country Club in Chapin, with a hundred of their closest family and friends looking on. Every detail of the elegant ceremony and after-party were masterfully planned by Meagan Warren Weddings, from the lush and pretty blossoms carefully crafted by Rex Woolbright of Weddings by Woolbright, to the music by Simply Strings. TJ McKay of Partytime DJs kept the dance floor packed all night long with a blend of hip hop, disco, dance, house and party favorites. The wedding was fun, sweet, festive and absolutely beautiful...a fitting tribute to an amazing couple who is clearly so much in love. The day started off raining heavily and even though Teresa and Eric had a tent as a back up the grass underneath still flooded, so they went to plan C and held the ceremony under the over hang. By the time the ceremony started the rain had stopped, but the sun hadn't come out. Which is actually a great thing for photographers. The clouds created a beautiful soft light that made it a wonderful light to work in. Here are a few of my favorite wedding photographs from the day.

Favorite Wedding Photos of 2012

Well, it’s that time of year again. Wedding season is starting to kick in and soon I’ll be photographing wedding and having a great time with some amazing couples. I’ve always enjoyed photographing weddings. It’s actually one of the first professional things I did as a photographer. Way back when I was fourteen I shot my first wedding. So I guess you could say I’ve been at it a while.

2012 was a crazy year for me, both personally and professionally. I had a lot of wonderful brides and shot some beautiful weddings. I even went as far as St. Lucia to photography a beautiful Caribbean destination wedding.

So before I start posting all the new wedding teasers, engagement sessions and bridal portraits coming up this year. I wanted to take a little time to look back at 2012 and share some of my favorite wedding images. These are some images that I pulled out simply because I liked them. It’s hard to find just 10 from 10,000 but here goes.
